An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Primary Care Nurse to join the Community Nursing Service in Fife Health and Social Care Partnership Community Services supporting the work within Kelty Health Centre Treatment Room
As Band 6 Primary Care Nurse you will have experience of running treatment room clinics as well as managing long term conditions such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Cardio-Vascular disease and have the necessary qualifications to support this. This post requires excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping patients self-manage their long-term condition.
You should be an independent Non- Medical Prescriber, or willing to work towards this qualification. Previous experience and qualifications in COPD, Asthma, CHD, Stroke, Hypertension, Cervical Cytology, Contraception, Travel Health, and Primary immunisation, would be advantageous.
You will be required to work as an autonomous practitioner, as part of each General Practice team, and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You should be committed to providing quality care and have a desire to continually develop this service.
You will have a full induction and orientation programme as well as ongoing support to assist in continued professional development.
