An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to manage the Stroke and Heart Disease Clinical Network.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals who have a proven track record in leadership, excellent communication and motivational skills and the commitment to develop this service.
Key functions will include;
• Ensuring high quality, clinically effective services are available to all patients across Fife, which meet national guidelines and local standards.
• Managing all aspects of the MCN and the MCN support teams including recruitment, appraisal, continuing professional development and performance.
• Identify, implement and evaluate projects and work streams that will improve the quality of health care experience experienced by patients with heart disease.
• Leading change and influencing and negotiating with people to contribute to supporting service improvement.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant NHS experience. A clinical qualification is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is a proven ability to be an effective team member as the post involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams. You will also be able to work independently to achieve targets and have strong organizational skills and sound knowledge of IT systems and software. On occasion travel may be required this will be infrequent.
