An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team providing secure care services at the Rohallion Clinic, Murray Royal Hospital, Perth. Rohallion Secure Care Clinic represents a unique setting for secure care in that both low and medium secure care facilities are co-located within walking distance of Perth town centre.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 3 member of staff who lives by the values of NHS Tayside, to join our Allied Health Profession (AHP) team which comprises of Occupational Therapists a Physiotherapist, a Dietician and support staff. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work as part of a well established Multi-Disciplinary team to support patient care and recovery.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience within a health or social care setting, a Mental Health setting is desirable but not essential. An ability to demonstrate an awareness of recovery principles and the understanding of the value of activity in promoting recovery is essential. It is also essential that applicants are committed to developing skills in providing a range of valued activities and group work.
Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of team, and be able to demonstrate the ability to use their initiative, to motivate others and deal with challenging situations.
You will be required to achieve the Mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the code of conduct throughout your employment. Applicants will also be expected to complete the 'New to Forensic' training programme.
