The Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services unit of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is looking for a National Finance Manager to join its Contractor Finance Team, taking over from the existing National Finance Manager who is retiring.

The post holder will manage payments on behalf of NHS Health Boards.  The post holder will be an experienced manager and self-motivated, numerate, empathetic, able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner, a team player with the ability to work independently and use own initiative. 
Ideally a qualified accountant with experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.  Previous experience in a payment role is desirable, and experience of paying primary care contractors would be an advantage.
