Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to;
- Develop and deliver Train the Trainers Teaching and to support a wide range of programmes within the Dental Directorate
- Create range of guidance/resources: assessment, providing feedback, mentoring, coaching, responsibilities of a trainer.
- Provision of structured training support for new staff in planning, designing, and delivering education (Advisors & Tutors)
- Support development, delivery, and evaluation of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) within the Dental Directorate
- Work collaboratively with other specialist educational leads both within and beyond dental directorate
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to;
- Degree level in relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Postgraduate qualification in Further/Adult Education, masters, or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing and developing educational programmes
- Practical experience of different technologies used in the design and delivery of accessible educational resources
- Expertise in project management
- Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to include presentation, influencing, negotiation and complex report writing
