An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Consultant to provide senior leadership within the Sir George Sharp Unit Cameron Hospital. You will provide line management to the MS Nurse Specialist and the ABION Service. You will be influential in shaping the Neuroscience /Rehabilitation strategic direction within NHS Fife and the Partnership
Your portfolio will evidence knowledge and experience of Neurosciences and Rehabilitation and Advancing Nursing roles. Evidence of leading and implementing change within a multi-disciplinary team experience at band 7 or above level will be required.
You must be registered on Level 1 Nurse Entry Code RN1, of the NMC register. In addition, a comprehensive knowledge within the specific field of practice with relevant post basic study at the level of 1st degree is essential.
A Higher Degree at masters level or the ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience is desirable to influence practice within the speciality and to mentor and supervise staff undertaking this level of academic/clinical study.
