North East Scotland Consultant in Neurophysiology

The Neurosciences Sector brings together Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology and is sited in one expansive area within the teaching hospital of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

 We currently have the following vacancy;

This Consultant post is offered on a whole-time or part-time basis and will replace the existing Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist in Aberdeen.  The successful applicant will join a dedicated and experienced team of Clinical Physiologists, providing a wide range of Neurophysiological investigations for adults and children, complemented by a Consultant Paediatrician in Neurology and a Locum Consultant Paediatrician in Neurology with EEG reporting experience. The successful candidate will be involved in developing the department with all new EEG equipment currently being procured.

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
