The Health Inequalities Service comprises the Sources of Support Link Worker team, the Community Health Team, and the Keep Well and Health and Homelessness Outreach nursing teams. Staff are employed across Dundee City Council and NHS Tayside, and the service therefore operates within both employing organisations, processes and systems.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to provide a wide range of administrative support for staff within this service with a primary focus on the Sources of Support link workers and Community Health Team.
Candidates must have previous experience in an NHS administrative/ clerical environment or other relevant setting and be educated to HNC level or equivalent in a relevant subject or able to evidence learning at that level. Candidates should have excellent organisational and communication skills, confidence and experience across a range of IT systems, be a flexible and supportive team player, compassionate and respectful to those from all walks of life, and able to work autonomously in a busy and dynamic environment.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
