Applications are invited for highly motivated Podiatrists for the roles of Specialist Podiatrist in MSK / Biomechanics.
There are 2 0.6wte (22.5 hours/week) posts available.
The Podiatry Service aims to deliver high quality care to patients and their carers.
The key responsibilities of the service are to provide triage, assessment, diagnosis and treatment to a diverse range of conditions and patient types in a variety of environments. There is also a key role in linking with care homes, nursing homes and other care providers as a point of contact and expert advice.
The service is patient centred and needs led with clinical assessment and diagnosis leading to patient management plans tailored to meet the needs of individual patients. There is a focus on rehabilitation with a self care element included in treatment plans where appropriate. Applicants should have a degree or diploma in Podiatry, current HCPC registration and POM-A entitlement. They should have minimum of 2 years of post graduate experience or equivalent in specialist area. Excellent communication skill and the ability to demonstrate effective clinical leadership are is essential to this role. Evidence of post graduate development or education in MSK Podiatry is also essential. The shift pattern is worked Mon – Fri 08:30-16:30 |
