In line with the implementation of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Bill, this post holder will have lead responsibility for the implementation of the organisation’s strategic approach to nursing & midwifery workforce planning. The post holder will interpret national policy and professional standards and apply these to inform and lead the development of local strategies and policy.
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure integration of education and training needs, governance arrangements and reporting and monitoring processes are in place.
You will be a Registered Adult Nurse who is educated to Masters Degree level (or equivalent) and has extensive experience at a senior level, preferably with background knowledge of workforce and workload planning. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are also required.
