Lead AHP
Band 8a £52,279 - £56,330 including Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Fixed term or secondment* for 6 months
NHS Orkney has an exciting opportunity for an experienced AHP to lead our team, who is passionate about improving outcomes and experiences for all patients.
As an experienced healthcare professional, currently registered with the HCPC, you will lead and develop AHP services in primary, community and secondary care, working closely with the Head of Health and Community Care and the Director of Nursing Midwifery and AHPs. You will be accountable to the Directive of Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals.
In our remote and rural setting, you must have the ability to work flexibly and on your own initiative. You will have the ability to provide expert information, advice, education and support to both patients and staff. You will work to develop and implement local and national guidelines, liaising closely with national and regional groups.
