A full-time, permanent position has become available for an experienced RIS/PACS System Administrator. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated person who is able to work as a part of a team.
This is a cross-site post between University Hospital Ayr and University Hospital Crosshouse, with the requirement to provide onsite support to all sites where NHS Ayrshire & Arran Imaging Systems are utilised. You will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Working closely with the RIS/PACS Systems manager, you will be expected to interact with, and support a wide range of staff, including clinicians, IT staff, managers and third party suppliers. Therefore, excellent verbal and written skills are essential along with highly developed interpersonal skills. Experience and knowledge of the Medical Imaging department processes; including workflow and Radiology clinical procedures is necessary, as well as experience in systems administration and implementation.
You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe caring and respectful way and will have experience of working in the NHS.
Car driver is essential.
