NHS Tayside is seeking a Band 5 to join Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service rotational scheme.
Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic service currently has fourteen rotations across a range of specialist services including acute, community, weight management, mental health, renal, learning disabilities, medicine for the elderly and paediatrics. The time in each area is twelve months. The rotational model provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience, develop knowledge and skills in a range of clinical areas and has been designed to offer optimum scope for career progression.
We are currently seeking a Band 5 dietitian with good communication and inter-personal skills to join the Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service. This post will begin rotation in the Weight Management Team, based in Kings Cross Hospital for six months initially.
There will be involvement in the clinical placement programme for dietetic students and opportunities to participate in other teaching and learning programmes. The post-holder will be an active member of the Tayside Nutrition Network, with involvement in innovation and developing / implementing standards of best practice.
Leadership and clinical supervision will be provided. All applicants should be registered with the Health Care Professions Council prior to starting in post.
