NHS Highland is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to work in the RNI.  We are looking for soemone who is able to work flexibly across a number of services in the RNI.

Responsibilities would include reception duties, answering phone calls, supporting the Community Ward and working with the ITR (Investigation and Treatment Room) all within the RNI Community Hospital.

This is a band 3 post  30 hours a week  worked over 5 days.

The preferred candidate must have good general education, extensive administration experience preferably  within a health care setting,  Track Care experience would be preferable but not essential.

As part of a small team, ensure the smooth running of multiple services assisting the Team Leader with efficient and effective service delivery.

Tasks would include allocating appointments on Trackcare in response to Formstream referrals from all other departments.  Provide receptionist and telephonist duties, ensuring that all callers and visitors are treated courteously and any issues or problems they raise are resolved satisfactorily.

To develop and administer effective systems for data collection and analysis as required to meet requirements for service planning and management processes.

Develop, administer and maintain effective appointment procedures/systems/databases for services provided in the RNI to ensure best possible use of clinicians time.

To assist with the production of written reports and other documents on behalf of the team.

Assist with ordering and maintenance of stationery and clinical supplies using Pecos.

Comply with NHS Highland Health & Safety Policy, and ensure safe working practice.

To participate in NHS Highland Personal Development Planning & Review Process to further my personal development
