An exiting opportunity has arisen to develop your skills in Infant Mental Health (IMH).
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dynamic full time specialist with a thorough understanding of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.
As IMH Therapist you will provide specialist parent-infant assessment and therapy for parents and babies. You will liaise with other professionals, provide supervision, deliver training and presentations across agencies and to multi-disciplinary professional groups.
As well as having a defined caseload and workload, the successful candidate will have a significant role within the NHS Highland Perinatal and IMH service. A key aspect of the role is the emphasis on early intervention, prevention of mental health difficulties and the promotion of positive relationships between parents and their infants.
Building capacity across Argyll and Bute within health services and multi-agency colleagues is also an important element of the post.
A specific programme of training and development is available as part of this role.
