The Strategic Business Unit – Digital & Security:
Our role is to support the NHS Scotland national eHealth agenda through the effective delivery of Digital products and specialist services that will enable clinical process and efficiency improvements across Scotland. The core remit is focused on the management and delivery of Digital services focused on the development and enablement of national level business and clinical capabilities. This includes the delivery of Digital services, systems, data and contracts which enable cross-Board/ boundary integration, workflow, information sharing, cost efficiency realisation and collaboration

In order to meet the increasing demand, NSS Digital & Security (DaS) is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to support a range of IT projects supporting delivery of Scotland’s Digital Health & Care Strategy. The post holder will report to the Programme Manager and will be responsible for management and delivery of IT projects for internal NSS users and external customers. 

The Candidate:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in IT related roles, including Project Management service design and change management as well as provide evidence in their application of their knowledge of Project Manager methodologies. A key part of the role involves liaising with project stakeholders and team members therefore candidates should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
