Immediate opportunities to join our Community Mental Health Teams and Crisis Teams across Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health and Social Care Partnership

Grade:  Agenda for Change Band 5

The 5 year Mental Health Strategy (2017 – 2022), is helping to transform and redesign the cities mental health services, it is a really exciting time to be part of this transformation and we are now looking for caring, compassionate, skilled, motivated nurses that can deliver care that is safe, effective and person centred to join us.

We have a robust framework to support your individual and career development, through the new Mental health service development and nursing strategy

You will have access to clinical supervision and nurse line management support and you will work as part of a wider Multidisciplinary Team, which will provide you with opportunities to work alongside Medical, Psychology, AHPs, Social Care and third sector colleagues.

Through the Transforming Nursing Roles agenda there are new and transformed roles emerging, again this is an exciting time to be joining mental health services as a nurse, as new career pathways are developing.

To apply you will required to meet the essential criteria:

  • You should hold current first level registration as an RMN with the NMC and be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Experience of prioritising and working in a dynamic and fast paced clinical working environment
  • Good communication skills, (written and verbal) and dealing with sensitive issues relating to clinical practice
  • Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its application within a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
