DISTRICT NURSING TEAM LEADER

Band 7: £40,872 - £47,846

37.5 hours per week – Full time, Permanent

An exciting  development opportunity has arisen to manage a well established District Nursing team covering the Mid Ross district area.   The role requires effective management and strong leadership qualities. The post holder will be skilled and creative and will work with other professional leads as a leader in the Integrated Care Team. The post holder will need to work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary staff and general practice to support individuals to have good quality care in their own homes.

The post holder will offer clinical leadership and provide support and professional development for their staff. They will oversee the operational management of caseloads ensuring high quality care for patients. The role will involve maximising the independence of adults, working to recognise the changing needs within communities, and working collaboratively to meet these needs.

The post will predominantly involve working within the Ross Memorial Hospital in Dingwall and surrounding district, however there is an expectation the postholder will be able to attend meetings  in other areas as required.
