There has been new investment in AHP services within CAMHS which has provided the opportunity to crease this new post.  The post holder will work closely with the 0.95 WTE Band 7 dietician to provide specialist nutrition and dietetic advice and clinical support to:

  • Outpatients – Community clinics held in Centre for Child Health Dundee and St Leonards Bank in Perth.
  • CAMHS in-patient admissions to paediatric wards and mental health units.

The areas the post holder will cover are dependent on the successful candidate’s experience and the overall demands on the CAMHS Dietetic Service. The areas are likely to be subject to change but will include some specialities e.g. eating disorders, mental health disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disabilities and weight management.

We are looking to recruit a dietician who can demonstrate a sound knowledge of mental health and/or paediatric dietetics and who thrives on working with children/young people and their parents and carers.
