As a staff nurse based within Ward 4A & 4B we need you to have a genuine interest in the care of surgical patients, with particular interest in gastro-intestinal pre and post-operative surgery, emergency surgical receiving and surgical assessment.

You must demonstrate general surgical experience, initiative and be adaptable to the demands of a busy surgical ward. Experience in surgical enhanced care with knowledge of wound management is desirable.

You will be committed to providing evidence based care of the highest standard alongside a commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to quality improvement.  You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.  You should be able to demonstrate commitment to this role with a forward thinking attitude, maintaining caring, safe, respectful values in the provision of patient care.

Full and Part time hours available and are rotational within the general surgical wards.
