You will be an organised person with kitchen and Customer Care skills and experience. You must have experience in large scale catering preferably within NHS. You must have knowledge of The IDDS Framework for therapeutic diets. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. A basic food hygiene certificate is essential along with good communication skills and knowledge of The IDDS Framework/training, food allergens and labelling.

Our main kitchen provides in excess of 2000 prepared and cooked meals every day including therapeutic diets to patients, staff and the public. In addition, we cater for hospitality for meetings and functions.

Your duties include preparation of therapeutic diets and supplements and follow standard recipes. You may be required to work additional hours during periods of leave. You will maintain a high standard of hygiene, recording and monitoring data for HACCP and environmental health.

This post requires you to work 7 days on 7 days off. The hours for the post are 9.30am - 5.30pm.
