Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Please note this is a job share post for 18.75 hours.
The shift pattern is;
Week 1 – 2 days
Week 2 – 3 days
Working days will be between Monday and Sunday.
Working Hours will be either:
7am – 3pm
8am – 4pm
9am – 5pm
10am – 6pm.

Delivery and distribution of porter services to wards, departments and Health Centres Board wide
Porter must be trained in the department’s statuary training program i.e.
Manual handling
Management of aggression
Food & hygiene
Driving licence
M.I.D.A.S (mini bus driving training)
Spillage kit training
Commitment to ongoing personnel development as identified due to exigencies of the service
Ability to work with people as part of a multidisciplinary team,
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to carry out porter duties effectively within a changing environment
