We are currently seeking to recruit a full time Claims Administrator on a permanent basis for our busy finance team based at our National Headquarters in Edinburgh. We are currently reviewing working practices, and it is likely that we will accommodate an agile and flexible working pattern.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Scottish Ambulance Service where you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all insurance claims received. This will include gathering information from across the Service to support our insurers and legal advisors and for maintaining accurate records.
You will have worked for a large organisation in an administrative capacity and can prioritise your workload in a busy environment.
You will be able to work using your own initiative, knowledge, and experience. An understanding of data protection legislation is desirable.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to engage with all levels of staff as well as external agencies.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel is required, along with the ability to use different IT systems to gather, record and report information.
