An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NCA for an experienced Project Manager to manage the upgrade of the Chemotherapy Electronic Prescribing and Administration Systems (CEPAS) in the North of Scotland (NoS).
The NCA is a collaboration between NHS Boards in the North of Scotland (NHS Tayside, NHS Grampian, NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland, NHS Highland and NHS Western Isles) and provides strategic focus and vision by taking a regional approach to cancer treatment.
The NCA has established a Programme Board to oversee the upgrades of the current CEPAS applications (ChemoCare) hosted in three areas but used by all six boards. It is then planned to move to a single instance of the system on the NoS.
The Project Manager will to work closely with the host project teams (NHS Tayside, NHS Grampian and NHS Highland) to fully deliver the local upgrades to the CEPAS systems. They will also be required to liaise with NHS Orkney, NHS Shetland and NHS Western Isles and ensure regional learning is incorporated in to the project plans.
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing a large complex projects, using project management methodology and must demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders and staff through large scale business change.
This is a temporary (24 month) position based within the NCA area.
