This post is an 18 Month Fixed Term / Secondment position.
The Practitioner and Counter Fraud Services unit of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is looking for a senior finance analyst specialist to join its Contractor Finance Team.
The post holder will play a key role in expanding the analytical capabilities of contractor finance, focusing on financial modelling, forecasting and reporting. The post holder will report directly to the National Finance Manager. The post holder will be self-motivated, numerate, and willing to take the initiative to design new solutions to complex problems and working processes, they will be able to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner and a team player with the ability to work independently.
They will be educated to degree level with significant experience of Microsoft Office applications specifically excel. They will also be skilled in financial modeling and analysis. Please see the person specification for more details on the required skills.
Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
