NHS Lothian are offering opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team of Healthcare Support Workers either working at a Band 2 level that will involve undertaking only personal care duties.  A comprehensive training programme and support for new team members will be provided.  These roles could be the start of an exciting new career for you in the NHS with an opportunity through further education and training to move into a professional role in the future

We have the following opportunities across our Health and Social Care Partnerships.

Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership are looking for Band 2 Healthcare Support Workers to support people with activities of daily living once they have completed their rehabilitation and who are waiting (at home) for a long term package of care.   

Posts are available with a range of working hours, from a minimum of 15 hours per week to full time, 37.5 hours per week. All posts will be rostered according to the needs of the service with day shifts, evening and weekend working available.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
