An exciting opportunity now exists to join our Staff Bank Service which is responsible for scheduling temporary bank staff across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s clinical and non clinical services.
Joining our existing Staff Bank Service contact centre team you will be capable of multi tasking between the various line of communications, to ensure we provide an effective and customer focused service. You will have an integral role in handling high volume e-mail, telephone, and web based enquiries.
Successful candidates will demonstrate through experience the ability to operate in an environment which requires an exceptional level of customer service skills and the ability to work flexibly especially in periods when there is an urgent demand for bank staff. Strong communication and listening skills are essential requirements of the role, as the knowledge, and dedication of our staff is key to our success.
You will be responsible for responding to requests for bookings from NHS Greater Glasgow and ’s operational services, evaluating requests, and assigning shifts to available bank staff. You will have a proven track record of working as part of a team, as you will work with collectively with your colleagues to maintain service levels, ensuring that workloads are prioritised and actioned in a timely manner.
The Staff Bank Contact Centre is operational 7 days between the hours of 8am to 8.30pm.This is a bank post and you may be rostered to work on shift patterns and be available to work within the operational hours of the contact centre, including weekends and public holidays.
( Please note candidates new to the NHS will commence on the first point of the AFC Band 3 salary scale. )
