This is an exciting opportunity for an engaging individual to work at The Corner in Dundee.
The Corner works with 11-19 year olds to improve the Health and Wellbeing outcomes of Young People in Dundee in drop in and outreach services. The Corner offers services on a wide range of health and wellbeing issues in particular emotional and sexual health.
You will deliver Young Carer Health Checks to meet the needs of Young Carers in school, school leavers and College. You will co-ordinate, plan, develop and deliver evidence based Health Check’s to Young Carers, and working in partnership address identified unmet need, in a manner that promotes their autonomy and independence.
You must demonstrate an understanding of the issues faced by Young Carers and have experience of working with young people in a range of settings.
You should have a degree or equivalent in Nursing, Community Learning and Development or other related discipline.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week
Fixed Term/ Secondment for 14 months
