Job Advert
We are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic HCPC registered Physiotherapists to provide clinical and non clinical leadership within our Musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy service. You will be expected to carry a clinical caseload at specialist level and be actively involved in influencing and implementing outpatient musculoskeletal clinical/operational development. You will receive support in this role from the operational and clinical lead therapists.
You may be based at various sites within the Fife wide MSK Physiotherapy service, and provide clinical leadership to the local team as well as contributing to the priorities of the wider MSK Physiotherapy team. Whilst the majority of the service is based around the Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline areas, flexibility to travel around the Fife area is required depending on the need. We have excellent facilities in St Andrews and Cupar.
You must have an excellent knowledge base regarding the management of musculoskeletal conditions and have previous experience in an MSK post at band 5 or specialist level. Experience of teaching and/or supervising less experienced staff, students and Healthcare Support Workers is essential. You will be motivated, possess excellent communication skills and have a willingness to be an active team player.
The promotion of a person-centred approach to patient care and staff development are central to our service improvement culture. We strive to provide a stimulating and learning working environment, with regular in-service training, peer review, mentorship and varied experiential opportunities. We actively encourage Continuing Professional Development (CPD), participation in service evaluations, clinical audits, and practice development networks. You will also be well supported by our team of experienced advanced practice physiotherapists and a Consultant Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
