Please note the work base location is Larkhall but flexible working may be considered.
We are seeking to appoint a number of Logistics Project Support Officers within the Covid-19 Test and Trace workstreams.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will manage the day to day running of the Testing Service Logistics area and related projects and programmes by providing high level project support and advice and guidance on Testing Logistics related matters and will include the management of methodologies (Prince2, MSP and MoR). The Project Support Officer will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative and project services to the Logistics Team Manager and Operations Manager, assisting in all aspects of the projects, programmes and business as usual. to ensure the effective delivery of NHS Scotland Covid19 Testing service(s) in accordance with SBU strategic objectives.
You will quickly build knowledge and credibility with a range of stakeholders making decisions to enable the widest possible access to testing across the country and ensuring the successful delivery of the NSS Covid testing service. The roles offer an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the citizens of Scotland using your decision-making, communication and planning skills.
Educated to degree level or equivalent you will be knowledgeable in logistics and supply chain operations.
Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
