NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde CAMHS are delighted to offer an opportunity to enablegreater provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – enhanced for eating disorder

thoughts and behaviours (CBT-ED).This post is based within Connect-ED, a specialist team delivering evidence-basedcare and interventions to children, young people and their families experiencing aneating disorder and living within GGC. This role is to deliver CBT-ED primarily following or adjunctive to Family-based Treatment (FBT). The post holder will carryout psychological assessments, create individual formulations in collaboration with the young people and deliver specialist interventions. The post holder will beresponsible for a highly specialist caseload, will work collaboratively with the eating disorder team, Tier 3 and Tier 4 CAMHS teams, multi-agencies and universal services to ensure Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC). Knowledge and experience of eating disorder presentations is desirable.We welcome applications from psychological therapists trained in CBT to postgraduate diploma level or above from all professional backgrounds (nursing,psychology, occupational therapy and allied health professionals). Training in CBTED can be provided. Supervision and support will be provided.
