An opportunity has arisen to work within the Pharmacy Department joining our team which provides a wide range of pharmacy services to patients in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

This is a temporary fixed term post which will have responsibility to ensure that medicines are purchased on contract where possible. Reasons this is not possible would be documented. You will set up a database which will track delivered savings against predicted savings to ensure they are being met/maintained.

You will be fully trained in all aspects of the role and be supported by the current team. You will be required to work within the guidance set out in the departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

You are required to have knowledge/experience within a Hospital Pharmacy Store environment. Excellent organisational communication and interpersonal skills & the ability to prioritise work are essential as is being able to work effectively & efficiently as part of a team to meet service demands.

This post carries a contractual commitment to work on a shift system (which includes a commitment to cover 7 days including weekend and evening). You will also be required to participate in our Public holiday and Departmental rotas.

Driving Licence is essential.
