Vacancy: Practice Pharmacist
Elmbank Group Practice have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our dynamic and forward-thinking multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist our clinical team in caring for our 11,500 patients. We are a training practice with 6 GP Partners, salaried & trainee GPs, 2 ANPs, a Paramedic Practitioner, a PA, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, 3 pharmacists and a supportive admin team.
You will be expected to support our clinical team with a variety of roles, whilst working as part of a friendly team of 3 part-time pharmacists within the practice.
The post requires a masters degree in pharmacy or equivalent and candidates should be on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards Independent Prescribing.
The successful candidate will have sound clinical knowledge and be able to show initiative with pharmacy-related improvements in general practice once in post.
The ideal candidate will also have good IT skills, excellent communication, and be able to adapt to working in a primary care environment.
The practice will support a successful candidate in further training where necessary, and as required by national primary care pharmacist integration plans.
Salary negotiable and dependent on experience, primarily around band 7 equivalent.
Hours: Up to 22 hours per week (negotiable)
Elmbank Group Practice uses the Vision clinical system (training will be provided if needed).
