Community Dietitian – Community Dietetic Service

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The successful applicant will join a friendly and enthusiastic community dietetic team in the North East Quadrant of NHS GG&C, and will assist in the:

• planning and provision of an evidence based Dietetic Service to patients with diabetes, including the delivery of group education.
• contribute to the general community dietetic work undertaken in a variety of settings ranging from clinic, and domiciliary visits which include care homes. The caseload includes patients on home enteral feeding. 
• supervision of band 5 dietitians, Band 3 support staff as well as dietetic students.
• planning and delivery of education and training for health care professionals.  This training covers detailed, broad ranging topical nutritional issues covering the entire life cycle.

A BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration and full driving license are essential.
