This post is Fixed Term for 2 years

An opportunity has arisen for a two year Assistant Programme Manager post, AFC Band 6, available from 28th October.  This post will be part of the East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership and is open to secondments.  The Post holder will join a recently expanded and forward-looking Planning and Performance team which supports the Partnership in the delivery of local and national priorities and targets.

The post covers a broad range of work areas but will have a particular focus on the areas of strategy development, primary care planning and performance monitoring.

Working with operational management, clinical professionals, health and social care colleagues, patients, the public, the voluntary sector, partners and others, the Assistant Programme Manager will carry out service redesign exercises, using a wide range of management and improvement tools, to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency.

This post is open to internal (NHS and East Lothian Council) and external applicants but the contract is under NHS Terms & Conditions.
