The post will be based within 354 Argyle Street in Glasgow, although you will be required to work throughout Lanarkshire, Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire & Arran, Greater Glasgow & Clyde along with an element of Home Working.


Previous experience within a PIP Clinical Assessment Environment is essential as well as DWP Approval and management experience.


The post holder leads and manages the local PIP delivery teams and assessment centres within specified regions.   The post holder is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality assessment service for claimants of PIP as well as ensuring that high quality reports are returned to DWP in line with the contractual service level requirements.


The post holder ensures that an excellent standard of customer service is provided at all times including administrative and reception service for PIP claimants.


The post holder is responsible for ensuring there is an effective training programme for PIP staff in line with contractual requirements.


HCPC/NMC registered.


Educated to degree level or equivalent within a relevant field.


Relevant post graduate training.


Relevant post registration experience within an NHS or similar Healthcare environment working with clients with complex health conditions.


Appropriate knowledge of the clinical aspects of a wide range of health conditions and disabilities.
