SENIOR STAFF NURSE – BAND 6

Full Time / Permanent

Then ward 5C (SDCU /CAL) is for you....We offer a friendly supportive environment and plenty opportunity for personal and professional development.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and confident individual to join the team at senior staff nurse level.

Ward 5C is a dynamic, efficient ward that has a multi-function as the Common Admission Lounge for elective surgeries and procedures and a Surgical Day Case Unit. The ward provides the opportunity to rotate to Ward 4A Head & Neck Unit, Ophthalmology and Short stay unit.  We work closely with the Ophthalmology Outpatients Dept to encompass  care delivery to Ophthalmology patients.

We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, caring and compassionate individual who wants the challenge of delivering high quality, patient-centred care, in a busy and dynamic ward and has the quality attributes to adapt to the diversity of the role.

The post holder should have experience looking after patients within an acute setting.  Leadership skills are essential.
