FULL TIME, 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
PERMANENT CONTRACT
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Nurse for Sleep Disordered Breathing to join the Respiratory Team at Raigmore Hospital undertaking specific responsibilities to work autonomously in the nurse led clinic, commence and review CPAP/ NIV on patients, reviewing sleep study data and manage the telephone support service.

The Job Description is generic in terms of breadth but the job is specific in terms of its objective with an exciting work load to support the Advanced Nurse for Sleep Disordered Breathing and Clinical Lead (visiting Consultant from the Royal Brompton) to provide the delivery of evidence based patient care for patients with sleep disordered breathing.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent clinical knowledge; in particular they will have the ability to demonstrate ongoing professional development and to work independently in addition to being an effective team player.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a real commitment to working across all relevant aspects of the service, showing an ability to enthuse, motivate and give commitment. Also helpful is the ability to demonstrate proficiency in various software systems to include e-mail, word processing, accessing results reports, caseload / workload data inputting. A demonstrable commitment to improving the services we provide to patients is absolutely essential.
