A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to apply for a band 3 post which has become available within the Ophthalmology outpatient department at Gartnavel General Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the Ophthalmology team and will have the assist the nursing team with responsibility of assessment, delivery, and supervision of all care needs within an outpatient setting. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the nursing and medical team and provide high standards of patient care. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking, and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment. You should possess excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about the Ophthalmology service. An interest in the speciality is essential.
