NHS GGC Pharmacy Services, Preparative Services are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the New Victoria Hospital The Pharmacy department provides oral and intravenous chemotherapy to patients both in the south of the city of Glasgow. The Pharmacy department also provides dispensing and distribution for the other outpatient clinics and wards in the hospital
The main duties of this post will consist of contributing to the day to day running of the Pharmacy department and to undertake routine technical activities within the aseptic unit, pre-filled chemotherapy section and the dispensary.
You will have SVQ level 3 or NVQ level 3 qualifications or equivalent and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
This post is available to NHS GG&C pharmacy technicians as a secondment or to external candidates as a 1 year fixed term contract.
This post is full time 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 and includes weekend working and participation on public holidays.
