INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT LEAD

Agenda for Change Band 7 (to be confirmed)

£40,872 - £47,846

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our HR team as International Recruitment Lead, to lead on the coordination and provision of specialist advice for healthcare candidates moving into posts within NHS Lothian.

As International Recruitment Lead you will provide leadership and expertise on international recruitment to enable NHS Lothian to effectively recruit new staff from overseas as part of the Scottish Government’s wider commitment to increase the workforce of NHS Scotland.

With a particular focus on providing a high level of individual candidate engagement and communication throughout all stages of pre- and post-recruitment, you will develop and deliver a range of on-boarding, relocation and transition employment services to support the relocation and settlement of candidates into their new work and home location.

You will have strong organisation and project management skills, with specialist knowledge and experience of international recruitment and working with people of diverse backgrounds.

Normal office hours will apply but there will also be a requirement to work flexible work patterns when engaging with international candidates in differing time zones.

It is anticipated that the post will be banded at AfC Band 7, but this is subject to final evaluation.

Closing date: Monday 20th December 2021.

Interviews are planned to be held on Friday 7th January 2022.
