An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Stroke Outreach Team based within the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. We are seeking an experienced nurse who will further enhance our team managing acute stroke patients admitted via ED, AMU and other clinical specialities within the RIE; this will include patients identified for our new and expanding thrombectomy service.

You should be a registered general nurse with stroke experience, who, whilst acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care and advice on patients who have suffered a stroke. At all times you will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care for stroke patients on your day to day caseload. We will consider applications from both qualified ANP’s and potential trainee ANP’s with relevant stroke nursing experience, please refer to the Person Specification for further information.
