An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Band 4 Associate Practice Educator within the division of Clinical Support Services, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.  This post will support the education and development of the Clinical Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) workforce from Induction and throughout their role development.

The post-holder will be part of the divisional team, led by a Lead Practice Educator, who with 4 other team members, are responsible for supporting planning and delivery of a range of education and training programmes for Nursing Staff and HCSWs. The post holder will be linked primarily with the clinical areas of In-Patient Radiology, Out-Patients (ARI & Woodend), Community Hubs, ANCHOR Unit; Haematology, Oncology, both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The successful applicant will be an innovative and motivated HCSW who has some experience of providing education and training to others, however full support will be available to undertake any additional education and training related to the post. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced HCSW who has the skills and ambition to develop their career within a Practice Education role.  If you value the contribution education provides to staff development and the provision of high quality patient care, we would love to hear from you.
