An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Management Accountants to join Angus Health and Social Care Partnership - a partnership between Angus Council and NHS Tayside, providing community-based health and social care services for the citizens of Angus.
Due to promotions, we now require to recruit to the above posts on a permanent basis. The ability of the Finance Team to add value in shaping the future of health and social care delivery directly contributes towards the key aim of improving the health of our citizens.
You will operate within a team providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Partnership. The annual budget for these services is c£180m.
We are looking for individuals with management accounting experience, which are either fully qualified or making progress towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, the ability to support change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are important qualities.
Salary placement will be dependent on progress towards full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and/or experience to date. This post is graded as an NHS Scotland Band 6 role, Annex 21 trainee conditions may apply.
The current expectation is that future working will be based on a blended model of home and office based working. While we are looking to recruit to the equivalent of two full time posts, applicants interested in part time working will be considered.
