We are seeking a dietetic support worker to support the NHS Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic GI community service. The post holder will be responsible for working with dietitians and admin staff to deliver our Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) service via apps and remote/digital one to one and group sessions. The post holder will have responsibility for coordination of patient care through the IBS pathway. They will provide organisational and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the service, collect data for audit purposes and be involved in developing and implementing standards of best practice.
This post would suit an individual with good communication and inter-personal skills and an interest in nutritional care. Previous experience in a health or local authority care setting or equivalent is essential for this post. Knowledge of IT systems would be an advantage but full training will be provided. There will also be opportunities to undertake training and develop new skills.
The postholder will be based in Angus, exact location to be confirmed.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
