An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) within the SPHERE Bladder & Bowel Service.
The HCSW will carry out containment assessments and may run pre-assessment clinics within the Health Centres around Glasgow. One session per week the HCSW will be working in the SPHERE Head Office based in Castlemilk Health Centre. The HCSW will be required to work unsupervised. Minimum requirements are; Experience in working with adults in a health or social care setting, SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare, the ability to work with people as part of a team, and to work alone in a clinical setting. The HCSW should have good communication skills both written and verbal, IT skills and it is essential to have a current driving licence. Knowledge of continence is desirable and training will be provided.
This is a 25.5 hour post, 08.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday excluding public holidays.
