An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual within the finance team of NHS Forth Valley. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Community and Health & Social Care Partnerships, you will prepare and provide management accounting advice and information to Community Services including Prisons Healthcare and services within the Clacks & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership.
Strong analytical and excellent excel skills will be essential. This job will suit someone who enjoys variety and juggling a range of tasks. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and be capable of producing high quality work to strict deadlines.
You will be a part qualified accountant working towards completing a professional accounting qualification, with expertise and experience preferably within an NHS Finance background, with a particular focus on budgeting and accounting matters. You will have excellent communication skills, particularly in delivering complex financial information to a wide variety of staff, many from a non-financial background.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in public sector financial management. The post will be based in Stirling Community Hospital although the successful candidate may be required to work across Forth Valley. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The Department is developing a Business Partnering model of service delivery with a focus on added value and supported decision making within the organisation.
