Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people living in Dundee?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 specialist community dietitian to join a friendly team in Dundee. This is an excellent chance to deliver a wide range of community based nutritional care with an emphasis on nutrition support in community settings including GP practices, patients’ homes and care homes. The post holder will also have a responsibility for student training within the team. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with other health and care colleagues, taking a pro-active approach to the clinical care of patients, service improvement and pathway development.
Excellent working relationships exist with dietetic colleagues throughout NHS Tayside via the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service and the Tayside Nutrition Network to develop and implement evidence-based practice, receive peer support and help to progress Continuous Professional Development. There is also a commitment to training, medical students and other health and care colleagues.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate good team working and to work autonomously.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
