A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated & experienced registered nurse to join the Acute Addiction Liaison Service supporting patients across the Acute Inpatient Services across Glasgow. Management of the team sits within NHSGGC Mental Health Partnership, Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service (ADRS). It is essential applicants have 2 year’s experience of drug /alcohol assessment and management of patients with a compassionate person centred approach. The successful applicant will be a key link between Acute Hospitals, ADRS Community Services, Third Sector and Voluntary Recovery Services. Nurse line management and supervision is a fundamental part of the role in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and policies. As an extension to the wider liaison role, there is a requirement to deliver training as part of a rolling educational programme for all staff within the Acute Sector.
