The Lomond Medical Practice would like to appoint an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our well established practice team. We seek a highly motivated individual to assist our GPs in caring for our 10,300 patients over 2 sites. We have 6 GPs, a ScotGEM clinical mentor and as well as being a training practice with GP Registrars, we have a further 2 ANPs, 2 Practice Nurses and NHS provided treatment room nurses.
Wider support to the Practice is provided by onsite services from our Pharmacy Team, Mental Health Triage Nurse, and an NHS Community ANP supporting urgent care/home visits.
The role would involve using your expertise to provide support to our GPs in minor illness assessment, telephone triage, prescribing and home visits and providing support to our palliative care patients. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out clinical decision making autonomously however, will have the full support of the GPs and the wider Practice team.
The role is permanent full time over 4 or 5 day’s days per week (however days/hours and rate are negotiable). The post holder will be expected to work at both our main site in Glenrothes and our branch surgery in Cardenden. We offer a very attractive pay and remuneration package including a golden hello payment.
